Desde entonces, los suplementos de HMB han sido muy populares entre los culturistas para apoyar la construcci\u00f3n muscular con excelentes resultados. Pero a pesar de su popularidad entre estos atletas, la mayor\u00eda de las personas siguen sabiendo muy poco acerca de este compuesto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><b><i>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el HMB? \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">HMB<\/span>, abreviatura de <i>hidroxi-metil-butirato<\/i>, es un compuesto que se forma de manera natural en el cuerpo en el metabolismo del amino\u00e1cido <b><i>leucina<\/i><\/b> (uno de los integrantes de los <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/bcaabeneficios\/\">BCAAs<\/a><\/strong>). \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Se encuentra de manera natural en alimentos de origen vegetales como el ma\u00edz o la alfalfa.<\/p>\n<p>1- Reduce el catabolismo proteico<\/p>\n<p>2- Aumenta la masa y fuerza muscular<\/p>\n<p>3- Reduce el tiempo de recuperaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">HMB<\/span> disminuye la degradaci\u00f3n de prote\u00ednas, mediante la inhibici\u00f3n de la enzima responsable de la proteolisis (proceso de descomposici\u00f3n muscular), adem\u00e1s de incrementar la s\u00edntesis de prote\u00ednas aumentando la expresi\u00f3n de la prote\u00edna mTOR.<\/p>\n<p>Aumentando la s\u00edntesis y reduciendo la descomposici\u00f3n, conseguimos un aumento de fuerza y una recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida tras el entrenamiento.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">HMB<\/span> adem\u00e1s de aumentar la masa muscular, contribuye a la perdida de grasa corporal y a la reducci\u00f3n del colesterol LDL (colesterol \u201cmalo\u201d) y colesterol total.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-843 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fotolia_63449214_XS-300x67.jpg\" alt=\"BCAA art\u00edculo\" width=\"300\" height=\"67\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fotolia_63449214_XS-300x67.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fotolia_63449214_XS-416x93.jpg 416w, https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Fotolia_63449214_XS.jpg 733w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><b><i>\u00bfC\u00f3mo se toma el HMB?<\/i><\/b><\/h3>\n<p>La conversi\u00f3n de leucina a HMB en el cuerpo es muy ineficiente, es decir, se necesita una gran cantidad de leucina para obtener tan solo unos pocos gramos de<span style=\"color: #00ff00;\"> HMB<\/span>. En los alimentos en los que est\u00e1 presente lo est\u00e1 en una cantidad muy reducida, es por ello que si queremos aprovechar sus efectos debemos recurrir a los suplementos.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los estudios han concluido que la dosis ideal es de 3g diarios, repartidos en 2-3 tomas (fundamentalmente pre y post entreno).
