En estado de reposo el cuerpo gasta energ\u00eda en las funciones vitales tales como el latido card\u00edaco, la respiraci\u00f3n, mantenimiento de la temperatura corporal, regulaci\u00f3n del pH\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esto es lo que se conoce como <b>metabolismo basal<\/b> y requiere \u00be partes de la energ\u00eda que consumimos y depende de diversos factores tales como la temperatura exterior, la edad, el sexo, y la composici\u00f3n corporal. <span style=\"color: #000080;\">La masa muscular<\/span> es la parte m\u00e1s activa del cuerpo, siendo la que m\u00e1s gasta incluso en reposo.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/conditioning\/\">Quema m\u00e1s grasa en tu entrenamiento\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1727\" src=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-15.23.58-300x206.png\" alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2015-12-08 a las 15.23.58\" width=\"300\" height=\"206\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-15.23.58-300x206.png 300w, https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-15.23.58-416x285.png 416w, https:\/\/stronggirlsacademy.com\/centro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-15.23.58.png 598w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Por tanto,<span style=\"color: #000080;\"> <em>a mayor cantidad de masa muscular mayor ser\u00e1 la energ\u00eda consumida y por tanto, m\u00e1s elevado es el metabolismo basal.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El metabolismo basal<\/strong> disminuye con la edad, desde los 20 a\u00f1os y de forma progresiva, a temperaturas elevadas, y en fallos hormonales como el hipotiroidismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>El gasto energ\u00e9tico<\/strong> son las calor\u00edas consumidas durante el desarrollo de una actividad f\u00edsica debido al gasto de las fibras musculares para generar el movimiento a trav\u00e9s del proceso de contracci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Los sustratos energ\u00e9ticos<\/strong> que utiliza el m\u00fasculo provienen bien de las reservas del organismo o bien de la ingesta de alimentos, y su utilizaci\u00f3n depende de dos factores:<\/p>\n<h3><b>INTENSIDAD y DURACI\u00d3N del ejercicio<\/b><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Las principales fuentes de energ\u00eda del m\u00fasculo son las <em>grasas y los <a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/hidratos-de-carbono\/\">hidratos de carbono<\/a><\/em>, las conocidas como mol\u00e9culas energ\u00e9ticas, y por una peque\u00f1a parte de las <a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/batidos-de-proteina-sabes-realmente-lo-que-son\/\">prote\u00ednas<\/a>, mol\u00e9culas estructurales ya que su principal funci\u00f3n es construir m\u00fasculo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la siguiente tabla vamos a\u00a0 ver los diferentes tipos de metabolismo energ\u00e9tico que hay y c\u00f3mo y en qu\u00e9 condiciones se dan.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1721 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-14.23.39.png\" alt=\"V\u00edas energ\u00e9ticas\" width=\"542\" height=\"236\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante ejercicios de alta intensidad y corta duraci\u00f3n (carreras cortas 400\/800 m., pruebas nataci\u00f3n, sprint final, etc), los dep\u00f3sitos de gluc\u00f3geno muscular almacenados, y la glucosa sangu\u00ednea son las principales fuentes suministradoras de energ\u00eda, mediante el <strong>sistema anaer\u00f3bico<\/strong>. A medida que la intensidad del ejercicio se reduce y aumenta su duraci\u00f3n (marcha, marat\u00f3n, esqu\u00ed de fondo), las grasas se convierten en la principal fuente de energ\u00eda, a trav\u00e9s del sistema aer\u00f3bico. A pesar de la importancia de las grasas los hidratos de carbono siguen siendo muy importantes, sobre todo al principio de la prueba ya que el cuerpo tarda un rato en empezar a utilizar la energ\u00eda de las grasas.<\/p>\n<p>No olvides la <a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/la-importancia-de-la-hidratacion\/\">importancia de una correcta hidrataci\u00f3n<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El consumo de <a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/hidratos-de-carbono\/\">carbohidratos <\/a>durante el ejercicio de larga distancia, suministra glucosa a los m\u00fasculos, lo cual te ayuda a evitar la fatiga asociada con la depleci\u00f3n de gluc\u00f3geno y a mantener el rendimiento en el ejercicio.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1726\" src=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/Captura-de-pantalla-2015-12-08-a-las-15.27.23-300x184.png\" alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2015-12-08 a las 15.27.23\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los <a href=\"http:\/\/oneentrenamientopersonal.com\/blog\/hidratos-de-carbono\/\">carbohidratos<\/a>s son la fuente m\u00e1s accesible de energ\u00eda durante el ejercicio, aunque sus reservas son limitadas.
